Welcome to Live at Scheme Bradford

We are a successful community based project helping to reduce social isolation in the over 60’s in our community. Our primary areas in Bradford are Wibsey, Odsal, Buttershaw, Horton Bank Top and Clayton.  We run 17 different activities, one of our core ones being one to one befriending.  We currently have 640 members and we endeavour to ensure a good quality of life and the independence they need to continue a full and active life.

We have various speakers come to our activities, giving information on services, support and help that is available to both the carers and the people being cared for.  This is vital as it helps educate people as to what help and resources are  available for them, for example Disability Bradford, Carer’s resource, benefits advice workers but to name a few.  It is essential to let people know they are not alone, that there are people out there to support and encourage them through changing and difficult times.
